Kura Kura Divers is dedicated to providing quality recreational dive training under the PADI system to the Shanghai English-speaking community. Living in Asia gives expats the opportunity to explore some of the world’s best diving. We want to get you ready for it. We offer pool training at the Dive Palace in Northern JingAn. No matter if you are age 10 or above, we take the time to ensure that you are comfortable and at ease in the water – we want to make diving fun!
Our team is just like you – expats. We are certified PADI professionals who have years of dive training experience. We take the time to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe experience. We want to prepare you for your next holiday to enjoy diving in the world’s best dive environments.
Our lead instructor, Jimmy Lyon, is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, a PADI Specialty Instructor (15 specialties), and an Emergency First Response Instructor. Jimmy is also a TDI-certified technical diver and TDI Nitrox Instructor. Whilst he has only been diving since 2012, diving has become Jim’s passion coupled with his love for teaching and the environment. Jimmy has been recognized as a PADI Elite Instructor for 2016 and 2017
