The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.
Participant Prerequisites
PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster course. You also need to have:

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification.
What will you learn?
The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, waterskills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.

PADI Assistant Instructor will assist, organize and supervise PADI courses knowledge developments, confined water and open water sessions. For the duration of a PADI course, the Assistant Instructor will assist the PADI Instructor in the teaching of knowledge and skills development. The teaching skills developed during the training will enable PADI Assistant Instructor to conduct some PADI courses independently, and with further training, even conducts non-diving specialty courses.

Certified diver for 6 months

Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months

Logged 60 dives, documented experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation

What will you learn?
PADI Assistant Instructor course consists of three parts: knowledge development, water skills development and practical application.

Knowledge development may include a combination of independent study, presentations and discussions.

Water skills development includes water skills exercises, demonstrate all scuba and skin diving skills.

Practical application includes practical skills, classroom discussions and practical assessments.
On successful completion of the course you earn a PADI Assistant Instructor Certification card, which is recognized around the world.
